On June 2, in Ulaanbaatar, as part of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Mongolia, talks were held between the heads of the two friendly countries — Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
Following the traditional official photo ceremony against the backdrop of the State Flags of both countries, Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh held a meeting in a narrow format.
The talks continued in a confidential and businesslike atmosphere, during which the priority areas of Turkmen-Mongolian cooperation were specified with a long-term perspective in mind. Noting the multifaceted potential for intensifying trade and economic relations, Presidents Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh also emphasized the importance of strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties that contribute to bringing the peoples of the two countries closer together.
