On December 4, the Turkish Republic Export Products Exhibition opened in the capital, alongside the latest meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council.
Currently, Turkmenistan and Turkey place significant emphasis on fostering mutually beneficial cooperation in various economic sectors, especially trade and economic relations. This is evident from the participation of a large group of representatives from both public and private sectors at the event.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held in the square in front of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads and representatives of ministries and departments, diplomatic missions, public organizations, media outlets, and business figures.
The ceremony featured performances by creative ensembles, adding a vibrant touch to the event.
Participants attentively listened to the congratulatory address from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the attendees of the Turkish Republic Export Products Exhibition.
In his message, the head of state noted that holding the Turkish Republic Export Products Exhibition in Turkmenistan has become a noble tradition, as Turkey is one of the country's largest trade and economic partners. During the exhibition, dozens of companies from different regions of Turkey will showcase their achievements in industries, agriculture, water management, construction, services, and export capabilities.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed strong confidence that this exhibition would play a significant role in strengthening the friendly and reliable intergovernmental relations, enhancing trade and economic ties, and increasing trade turnover between the two countries.
During speeches at the opening ceremony, it was emphasized that, thanks to the efforts of the leaders of the two brotherly nations, trade and economic relations are continuously developing. It was particularly noted that the exhibition, which has become an annual tradition in Turkmenistan, serves as an effective platform for exchanging advanced technologies, innovative developments, and best practices, demonstrating the potential of Turkish producers.
Following the opening ceremony, attendees explored the exhibition's displays, which featured a wide range of high-quality goods, including equipment for industrial and agricultural sectors, spare parts, construction materials, household and electronic appliances, home goods, and textiles.
The exhibition prominently showcased booths representing various industries from Turkey's regions.
For instance, the company Abdi Ibrahim offers services in pharmaceutical production. Orcelik Ofis Mobilyalari Makine and Biriz Ambalaj presented achievements in furniture and packaging production. Visitors showed great interest in household and kitchen appliances popular in Turkmenistan, including refrigerators, washing machines, water heaters, cooling and heating systems, and more. Products from companies such as Pimak Professional Kitchen Ltd, Daikin Heating and Cooling, Aldag Isitma Sogutma Klima, and Demir Dokum were on display.
Other participants included companies like Pedaş Elekt, Vatan Kablo Metal End, Teksan Jeneratör Elek, and Otp Ogultürk Pano İmal, specializing in the production of power equipment, lighting systems, cables, generators, and electrical panels. Video screens at the Çalik Holding booth showcased projects completed in Turkmenistan and those currently underway.
Construction remains a key area in Turkmen-Turkish cooperation, with Turkish companies having successfully completed numerous projects in Turkmenistan. Leading Turkish firms producing construction materials and equipment actively participated in the exhibition. Karbosan Zimpara Tasi showcased their products, Hilal Aluminium displayed aluminum profiles, Genç Boru Profil presented plastic pipes, Celka Çelik Kapi introduced iron and wooden doors, and Kalekim Kimyevi Maad featured paints, wall, and furniture coatings used in construction.
Other companies demonstrated capabilities in manufacturing metal structures, compressors, agricultural and drilling equipment, water purification systems, organizing exhibitions and events, and providing logistics services. Notably, companies specializing in greenhouse complexes and sustainable agricultural equipment, such as Sera Marketim, Ekin Endustriyel, and Suntek Mühendislik, also participated.
The Turkish Republic Export Products Exhibition not only creates ample opportunities to showcase the potential of Turkish manufacturers but also fosters direct connections with Turkmen partners.
Representatives of companies, relevant agencies, and private businesses explored the exhibited products and discussed potential collaboration opportunities.
In the afternoon, the latest meeting of the Turkmen-Turkish Business Council took place.
The main objective of the meeting was to boost bilateral cooperation, considering the vast future opportunities.
Forum participants highlighted the significance of this event in the context of rapidly developing bilateral relations, which have gained momentum and new dimensions in recent years. Such business meetings have proven to be an effective tool for enhancing economic cooperation, as evidenced by the steadily increasing trade volume between the two nations.
Turkmenistan and Turkey actively explore their partnership potential. Over recent years, major joint projects involving Turkish companies have been successfully implemented in various sectors of the national economy, with new initiatives currently underway. Expressing keen interest in expanding comprehensive cooperation with Turkmenistan, which enjoys a reputation as a reliable partner on the international stage, Turkish business leaders reaffirmed their readiness to take a more active part in investment projects aimed at further socio-economic development in Turkmenistan.
Turkmen representatives highlighted the economic potential and achievements of independent and neutral Turkmenistan, emphasizing the prospects for collaboration in line with the state’s development priorities.
As noted, Turkmenistan's economic performance is highly impressive. The vast potential allows for the continuous and targeted implementation of large-scale reforms in the oil and gas, transport, construction, chemical, energy, and other industries, as well as the social sphere.
On the second day of the exhibition, new products and modern technologies from Turkish companies will be presented. On the final day, participants will be awarded special diplomas.
