On June 24, 2025, pilgrims who performed the hajj to the centers of the Islamic world - the holy cities of Mecca and Medina of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, returned to their homeland. Upon arrival, members of the pilgrimage group expressed sincere gratitude to Arkadagly Haji Serdar and the National Leader of the Turkmen people Haji Arkadag for the care and assistance from the state in performing religious rites.
In the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, Turkmenistan provides all conditions and opportunities to maintain the continuity of the ideals of humanism and adherence to the noble traditions that have developed since ancient times. Such measures clearly demonstrate that the principles laid down by our wise ancestors are now finding a worthy continuation thanks to the support of the head of state and Hero Arkadag.
As is known, by the decision of Arkadagly Haji Serdar, a group of our compatriots was sent to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj, visiting Mecca and Medina. And today, upon returning to their homeland, they were warmly welcomed. This is another confirmation of the continuity of the ancient noble traditions of our people.
Turkmen citizens who performed all the rituals during the Hajj expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the care shown at the state level for the pilgrims.
As before, now, in the International Year of Peace and Trust, a large group of our compatriots, with the assistance and support of Arkadagly Haji Serdar and Haji Arkadag, made a pilgrimage to the two holy places of the Islamic world in the cities of Mecca and Medina.
Thus, a group of Turkmen citizens fulfilled all religious requirements during the Hajj. They expressed great gratitude for the opportunity that allowed them to realize their dream. The pilgrims performed all the rituals together with representatives of the clergy, which emphasizes the importance of correct and consistent implementation of religious dogmas. Thus, our compatriots duly fulfilled all the requirements when visiting holy places.
The pilgrims offered prayers for the acceptance of the Hajj, the Sadaqah and good wishes by the Almighty. They expressed words of gratitude to Arkadagly Haji Serdar and Haji Arkadag for their efforts to preserve the original national principles.
The total number of pilgrims from Turkmenistan who went to perform the hajj to Mecca and Medina was about 3 thousand. They were divided into eight groups and visited the main shrines of Islam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia according to the planned program. All this clearly demonstrates the measures taken in our country to support noble principles, ensure the well-being of citizens, as well as the opportunities for them to perform sacred rites.
Our compatriots, who visited the sacred Kaaba in the city of Mecca and the mosque of the Prophet Muhammad in the city of Medina during the Hajj, expressed sincere gratitude for the assistance in this on the part of the state and assured that they would make every effort to make a worthy contribution to the further development and prosperity of the Fatherland, the establishment of the principles of peace and friendship.
Today, as a result of the successful implementation of the noble undertakings of Haji Arkadag under the far-sighted leadership of Arkadagly Haji Serdar, the original national traditions and customs of our wise ancestors are being continued in accordance with the spirit of the times. This fully demonstrates the continuity of the ancient principles of Turkmen statehood that have been perfected throughout the glorious history of our people. The measures taken in the country in this direction strengthen the unity of the people, and allow us to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism and hard work.
In short, all this shows that every day of the International Year of Peace and Trust is filled with significant events and that the historically established noble principles of our people still serve as an example for the whole world and are gaining continuity. Our compatriots, who made the pilgrimage with the assistance of the state and filled with a sense of pride, expressed boundless gratitude to Haji Arkadag and Arkadagly Haji Serdar for the opportunity provided.
Thus, thanks to the conditions created, our citizens, who have a good goal, visited the holy land, where they performed all the rituals of the Hajj. This clearly demonstrates the active concern shown at the state level for the well-being of people and the embodiment of their spiritual aspirations.
