President of Turkmenistan Meets Executive of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.

On June 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Mr. Kenji Sanada, Executive Director of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd., who arrived in the country on a working visit.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, Mr. Sanada said it was a great honor for him to be received by the head of state. He noted that Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. highly values the favorable business environment created in Turkmenistan, as well as the country's significant achievements in economic modernization.

The guest congratulated President Berdimuhamedov on the second anniversary of the city of Arkadag, acknowledging its rapid development and symbolic significance.

Thanking Mr. Sanada for his kind words, President Berdimuhamedov wished him a productive visit and success in his efforts to expand the company’s partnership with Turkmenistan.

It was emphasized during the meeting that trade and economic relations remain one of the priority areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan. The interaction between business communities is also reaching a new qualitative level, contributing to the steady expansion of bilateral ties.

In this context, the President highlighted the significant contribution of Japanese companies to unlocking the economic potential shared by both countries.

Turkmenistan and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. have enjoyed fruitful cooperation over many years, with the company playing a key role in the implementation of several major projects in the country.

President Berdimuhamedov noted the availability of opportunities to further strengthen and diversify the partnership and reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s openness to deepening business cooperation with Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.

Concluding the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence in the successful implementation of new mutually beneficial projects with the participation of the Japanese company and wished Mr. Kenji Sanada continued success in his work.
